"I am from León, Guanajuato, a city known worldwide as the heart of Mexico's leather industry. It is a place where tanning, shoemaking, and leather craftsmanship have been an integral part of daily life for generations. I grew up immersed in that world surrounded by the tools, the materials, and the processes. 

This trade has been part of my family for three generations.
When I was little, I used to hide in my dad's truck whenever he went to visit the factories where the hides were processed. I loved watching how everything worked, how something rough and raw could be transformed into something beautiful and useful. That fascination never left me. It is what compelled me to share this art and tradition with the world through products made with leather we select ourselves, with the utmost care. 

As “MD” brand’s designer, I focus on crafting pieces that convey honesty and quality, paying close attention to detail, perfecting the finishes, and designing objects that are simple, functional, and built to last.
